Something quiet is happening on the blocks between 32nd Street and 48th Street this summer. Six new food and drink concepts have landed in Arcadia since last July, another one is targeting a Labor Day debut, and the most anticipated opening of the year is still a few weeks out. That much is easy to notice if you drive Indian School or Camelback on a weeknight.
The harder thing to notice, and the reason this run of openings is different from the parachute-in expansions Arcadia has absorbed before, is who is behind them. Chef Kevin Ehret puts it plainly:
