The Summer PV Became The Cactus Corridor's Walkable Core

If you live inside the Cactus Corridor, your mental map of Scottsdale probably runs on a familiar grid. Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter sit ten minutes north for a proper dinner out. Old Town is fifteen to twenty minutes south when you want a scene. HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea is the five-minute anchor to the southeast. For a long time, the corner of Cactus Road and Tatum Boulevard was the fourth cardinal point, and it was the least interesting one: a slowly emptying regional mall that stopped being a plan for a Saturday sometime around 2015.

That corner is the story of the summer. The 100 acres immediately west of the corridor's boundary have quietly become the closest walkable dining and gathering node to most Cactus Corridor addresses, and the shift is happening faster than the marketing language for it has caught up.
